An aromatised wine from Italy's Piedmont district made with Barbera and flavoured with various botanicals. Bright aromas of grapefruit, rhubarb, sage, and cardamom, followed by bitter grapes, gentian and a warming, lightly tannic, bone dry finish. Tasty on its own with a twist, spritzed-up with soda and slice of citrus fruit, or as the vermouth in your next Negroni.
