Genever is known as the original gin. Flavour-wise, it resembles a cross between unaged whisky and gin. During the first golden age of cocktails in the mid-19th century, Genever was the best-selling imported spirit in North America, outselling gin 400:1. This lovely spirit is triple-distilled from rye and barley, then blended with juniper and Brambling hops. Notes of fresh baked bread, pepper, lemon, fresh herbs and almonds.
