First created in the 16th century by the famous Paracelsus, this bitter digestive liqueur was believed to have so many medicinal benefits that in 1850, a Swedish doctor formalized the formula under the name "Elixir du Suédois" (the Swedish Elixir) and prescribed it for all kinds of ailments. Later, Dolin created their own formula, making the Dolin Suedois elixir a reference in the field. Amongst the formula's ten botanical ingredients are myrrh, gentian and orange. Warming herbal spice, balanced sweetness, and pleasant bitterness.
