Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey

Regular price $75.00

The palate is oily and spicy with notes of toffee, orange marmalade and allspice.

Named after the old Sazerac Coffee House in New Orleans, birthplace of the iconic Sazerac cocktail. The Coffee House was acquired by Thomas H Handy, who owned Peychaud’s Bitters. Originally, he sold bottles of the Sazerac cocktail. A lot of people have long believed that the Sazerac was originally made with brandy, but we've recently discovered that it was not; it was always made with rye whiskey. Today, this particular rye is produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery.
