Amrut was the first distillery to make single malt whisky in India. Fusion is made of 75% unpeated Indian barley and 25% peated Scottish barley, which are distilled and aged (for four years) separately in ex-bourbon casks before being blended and rested (fused) for three months. A solid whisky deserving of more attention.
