Pleasantly sweet, slight chili heat, smokey, mild acidity.
Based on a 1927 recipe out of Puebla, Mexico, a town known for its smokey ancho chiles. Produced by macerating ancho chiles in a sugarcane distillate. Really versatile. Plays nice with various spirits and brings depth of flavour to both shaken and stirred mixed drinks.
