Aromas of vanilla, caramel corn, hay and spice. The palate is warm, mellow, and leathery with notes of vanilla, pecan, caramel corn, burnt cinnamon and chestnut.
The old-timey term “bib & tucker” was used to describe one’s best attire, such as that which one would wear to a wedding or a formal dance. This NDP bourbon was sourced from Tennessee (probably the Tennessee Distilling Company) and is styled after bourbon of the late 20th century. Based on a mashbill of 70% corn, 26% rye and 4% barley, it was double-distilled (first in a column still, then in a pot still), un-chillfiltered, and aged for a minimum of 6 years in No. 1 charred American oak.
