A high-rye bourbon distilled from corn, rye, and two-row malt. Aged at least one year in charred new oak. Spicy and sweet with notes of toffee, apple, cardamom and cloves. Good body with a lengthy, dry finish.
Founded in 2011, FEW Spirits is a grain-to-glass distillery based in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, Illinois, which was once the headquarters of the Temperance Movement, and, until 1972, had been a dry community for 100+ years. Ironically, FEW is an acronym for Frances Elizabeth Willard—champion of womens' suffrage longstanding president of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union.
