Masahiro distillery has been distilling on the southern island of Naha in Okinawa Prefecture since 1883. They focus on producing Awamori, a traditional rice spirit of Okinawa (which comprises the base of this gin). The botanicals include roselle (of the hibiscus family), guava leaves, long pepper, and goya (bitter melon). At 47% abv, it’s bursting with floral flavours, tropical fruit and green bitter melon notes.
