A bold, sturdy whisky with flavours of pear, almonds, peat and smokey notes building as you go, along with a little chocolate, whispers of the sea, followed by a long, silky finish.
Relaunched in 2016, from Nikka's Yoichi distillery, this peated single malt replaces the beloved Yoichi 10, 12, 15, and 20, all of which have been discontinued because of well-known Japanese whisky shortages. Distilled from malted barley and aged using a variety of casks, including new American oak and ex-sherry casks.
